SKJOLD LODGE, SONS OF NORWAY

Skjold Lodge was organized on February 25, 1910 and held its first meeting in Evanston, Illinois.

The lodge is over 100 years old and while some members come to meetings from 30 miles away, they primarily serve individuals in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago who want to learn more about Norwegian culture and heritage or would simply like to spend some time with others who love this wonderful country.

Skjold Lodge coordinates a variety of programs and trips to cultural and heritage areas.
A spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm as well as dedication to fraternal ideas and to the advancement of Norwegian culture abroad makes Skjold Lodge a proud part of the Sons of Norway family..
